• How do I use your data with my charting package?

  Our data can be imported into most of the leading charting and technical analysis packages. Using our DataClient product you can automatically download your data each day and store it in MetaStock format. We also provide a utility for converting our data into MetaStock/Computrac format which most packages can read directly.

• What data formats do you provide?

  We provide our end of day data in a variety of formats that can be imported by most of the leading charting and technical analysis software packages. A detailed outline of all the data formats we provide can be found HERE.

• What time is the data available?

  Our data starts arriving at approximately 5pm market time and we apply updates and corrections until 7pm market time. If you download data before 7pm each day then we would strongly recommend that you download again after 7pm.

• Why is your data FREE? What's the catch?

  There is no catch. We will not spam you or sell your email address. EODData makes it's money through commercial data feeds, subscription services, software sales, advertising and historical data sales.

• If I miss downloading data one day, will your DataClient utility automatically download data for the missing day(s)?

  Yes.

• When I download each day, am I downloading all historical data again for every security or is it only downloading data for the latest day (or missed day(s))?

  DataClient only downloads the latest/missed day(s).

• Are delisted stocks included in historical data?

  No, We only supply historical data on stocks that are currently trading on the exchange.

• Is your data adjusted for splits?

  Our historical data files are adjusted for splits and they are periodically updated for our members to download.

• Is your data adjusted for dividends?

  No, we do not adjust data for dividends.

• Can I receive my data automatically via email?

  Yes, for only US$14.95 per month we will automatically email all of your end of days files to you at market close. You can subscribe to this service HERE.

• Do you have an FTP site for downloading data?

  Yes, for only US$19.95 per month you can gain FTP access to all of the end of day files we provide. As an added bonus, FTP users also have access to the last couple of months historical data. To find out more click HERE.

• What fundamental data do you provide?

  Our Silver and Gold members have access to fundamental data that includes: PE, EPS, Shares Outstanding, Industry and Sector. A detailed description of the data provided and sample data can be found HERE

• Can I display your quotes and charts on my website?

  Yes. For more information on how to embed EODData content in your website please click HERE.

• I have developed a charting program and I would like to use your data.

  We can provide you with a commercial data feed or you can access our XML Web Service. You could also white label our DataClient product and distribute that to your clients.

• How do I change my Password?

  You can change your password through the Edit Profile page of our website. Simply enter a new password and click on the Update button.

• Logon Problems.

  Please ensure that you have cookies enabled to use our website. FYI: There has been a lot of FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt) spread about cookies for a number of years by people who generally don't know what they are talking about.

• I have forgotten my password.

  If you have forgotten your login details you can use the 'Forgotten Password' link found on the bottom of the MEMBER LOGIN entry box.

• Can I buy and sell stocks through EODData?

  No, we do not provide services for trading stocks.
