Our business was started in the late 1940?s, manufacturing and selling aerosol  valves in the United States, and has grown primarily through the acquisition of  relatively small companies and internal expansion. We were incorporated in  Delaware in 1992. In this report, we may refer to AptarGroup, Inc. and its  subsidiaries as ?AptarGroup? or the ?Company?.  We are a leading global supplier of a broad range of innovative dispensing  systems for the personal care, fragrance/cosmetic, pharmaceutical, household and  food/beverage markets. We focus on providing value-added dispensing systems  (pumps, closures and aerosol valves) to global consumer product marketers to  allow them to differentiate their products and meet consumers? need for  convenience.  We have manufacturing facilities located throughout the world including North  America, Europe, Asia and South America.
