(?Synergetics?) and Valley Forge Scientific Corp. (?Valley Forge?). Synergetics was founded in 1991. Valley Forge was incorporated in 1980 and became a publicly-held company in November 1989. Prior to the merger of Synergetics and Valley Forge, Valley Forge?s common stock was listed on The Nasdaq SmallCap Market (now known as The Nasdaq Capital Market) and the Boston Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ?VLFG.? On September 21, 2005, Synergetics Acquisition Corporation, a wholly-owned Missouri subsidiary of Valley Forge, merged with and into Synergetics, and Synergetics thereby became a wholly owned subsidiary of Valley Forge.
